I first watched The Secret in 2008. I have seen it a handful of times since. It's one of the things I revisit when I need to be laser-focused on my goals. Spoiler alert: the secret is the Law of Attraction. The premise is that we attract everything — good and otherwise — into our lives, a powerful and somewhat sobering thought. Mastering the secret can lead you to a life beyond imagination.
There is no doubt that the key to success is action. Optimism can only take you so far and, at times, even work against you. Having a vision, a well-laid-out plan and acting on it with grit, persistence, and consistency is the pathway to having it all. But there has to be something else, intangible factors that help a person achieve the life he wants. It starts with the ability to use your intellectual power. Creation is always happening. A 2020 study reported that humans have about 6,000 thoughts a day. From the moment you wake up to deep into your slumber, you are thinking of something.
Your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. If you can hold it in your mind, it's only a matter of time until you can have it in your hands — good health, a loving relationship, financial freedom; the sky is the limit. You can, at any moment, make a new choice and change the trajectory of your life.
